The building is a typical cabin chapel. The cabin with rectangular foundation is divided into two parts: the chapel of St. Peter and Paul itself and an anteroom (‘seni’) with internal stairs. From the south, the anteroom is adjoined by a tiled frame-porch. The belfry with a tent-like roof towers above the anteroom .

All frameworks are covered with a double-slope roof, which is covered from the East by the second double-slope roof of the chapel’s framework with a dome with the cross, placed on a small octagon. Walls are made of round pine logs (22-24 cm in diameter) according to the traditional method called ‘v oblo’ (i.e. with the logs ends protruding from the edges of the walls in the corners). Domes with crosses are covered with aspen shingles.

The chapel decorative elements are done with great mastery and skill. From the north and south, the chapel is surrounded by an ornate walkway gallery with carved posts and ornamental hand-rails, which brighten up the flank fronts thanks to the wonderful play of light and shadows. Windows casings are of great value. They have an incline overflow plank which is fixed with ornamental holders and protects casings from moisture.
