The windmill is a wire-frame structure with a fixed base and four windmill wings turning around a vertical post. The millstones for grinding flour were built on the second floor, so that flour would shed downstairs through a long wooden millrace. The roof of the building is covered with wooden lath fixed to the plank frame.
