The basis of the design of the structure is a parallelepiped-shaped rectangle covered with a symmetrical gable roof. This is a log structure divided by the internal wall into two cells – a front room to undress and the steam bath itself.

There is a board footway to the lake by the entrance in the North wall. The structure is built of pine, the logs of exterior walls are notched at the corners according to the traditional method with the log ends protruding or extending beyond the corners of each wall (a notch joint called in Russian ‘v oblo’). Log joists are notched into walls, and on top of these is a floor of boards. The roof is a nailless construction, made of boards. ‘Facial’ boards, ridge and U-beams holding the roof are plain and do not bear any kind of carved decorations.

The room inside is lighted through a small window, constructed of jambs fixed at angle of 45 degrees. The window faces the lake. A pile of rocks for heating and a bench for taking a steam bath are near the eastern wall. There is a vent-hole manually controlled on the inside above the rocks.
