The log building is square in plan, covered with a gable roof. The framework is assembled of pine logs notched at the corners according to the traditional method with the log ends protruding or extending beyond the corners of each wall (a notch joint called in Russian ‘v oblo’). Facades have no decorative elements; the doorway in the western facade is composed of three jambs.

The inside of the threshing barn is a room where sheaves were threshed and dried. A pile of rocks used for heating faces the entrance. Sheaves were dried on the grates resting on the pole; crops were threshed with flails on the floor. The floor and the ceiling are board.
