The windmill is a typical four-wing structure of a so-called ‘stolbovka’ type (e.g. the windmill can be turned around its central post if the wind is not blowing into the ‘right’ direction). The main building is a square parallelepiped with a gable roof which is raised over the land and installed on a cross connection covering an axial post.

The cabin of the windmill is framed and fixed on a revolving platform made of round blocks. Longitudinal blocks of the platform protrude as cantilevers from both sides of a working room. From one side there is a four-wing impeller installed on the driving shaft and from another side there is a rotary lever. There is a hanging ladder with one flight of stairs supported by the platform’s transversal blocks located on the side facade. The walls of the windmill’s working room are hewed with an axe, the roof is covered with clapboards. The entrance door is made of simple planks which are fixed together with wooden pegs, there are no windows or any decorations. Foundation of the windmill is a vertical post dug into the ground and gripped by cross pieces of two paired log walls. The internal walls of windmill’s working room are not covered with boards. In the right corner which is opposite to the entrance door there is a platform with millstones on the revolving shaft. Its upper part has a pinion which is joined with a leading pinion of the revolving shaft with wings. The ladder which is located along the wall opposite to the entrance leads to the platform with millstones. The windmill’s roof consists of queen posts with sarking boards.
