The granary is the part of the peasant Sergin's farmstead situated in a small village of Vasilyevo. It is located in line with another house in the north-western corner of the yard. It is a single-chamber, two-level household structure. The parallelepiped-shaped framework is covered with a steep double-sloping roof. It is made of pine logs, fixed according to the traditional method called ‘v oblo’ (i.e. with the logs ends protruding from the edges of the walls in the corners).

The double-layered nailless gable roof is supported by a solid layer of thin beams, cut into each groove of the gable wall. The floor and the ceiling are made of thin planks. The doors are three-jambed. The stairway is situated in the northwestern corner of the granary. The entrance door is west-oriented and is on the front facade. The barn is not decorated: three sides of its roof ceilings are smoothly hewed; carved fascia boards have rounded endings. The roof comb is of simple shape with semi-circular carving on the edge.

The granary is a typical building for the region of Zaonezhye in the 19 century. It represents an essential part of peasant's farmstead and has the roof of archaic structure.
