The barn of Kuznetsov from the village of Pegrema is located on the lake shore in the northern part of the ‘Village of Vasilyevo’ exposition sector. Its entrance door, located on the eastern side of the building, faces other buildings of the settlement. The building itself is of a rectangular shape and covered with a double-sloping symmetrical roof.

The barn is a double-cell five-wall log structure with an inner wall (the fifth one), and each chamber has a separate entrance door. One side of the building with the entrance door is the main facade. The protruding ends of three lower logs on the side walls support the platform and the porch in front of the entrance door. The steps are made of planks and logs cut into these protrudings. The protruding endings of the side walls logs above the entrance door work as supporting brackets for the overhangs above the porch, which are supported by three plain wooden posts. There are horizontal slots (grooves) for poles in the upper logs protrudings. The walls are fixed according to the traditional method called ‘v oblo’ (i.e. with the logs ends protruding from the edges of the walls in the corners). The roof is of gable type and is made without any nails. The doors are three-jambed with jambs fixed together with a quarter lap joint at right angles. The barn has no windows and represents a typical small public building, which was popular in Zaonezhye (the region of Karelia with Russian population) in the late 19 - early 20 centuries. The building hasn't been reconstructed.
