The house is of the so-called ‘brus’ type, i.e. a rectangle framework with the living quarters located in front part, the anteroom in the middle and the household area in the back of the house. One-storey living part, uplifted above the ground, is a five-wall framework with a longitudinal inner wall with two guestrooms (‘gornitsas’ ) in the anteroom (‘seni’). There is an attic room with three windows above the living room (‘izba’). One flight of stairs leads to a small attic room (‘svetelka’) and another one – to a cellar. The cellar under the anteroom is divided by the inner wall into 2 separate cells, which later were made into so-called ‘cold’ guestrooms or pantries: the windows there were widened, the surface of the walls was neatly hewed up from inside. The two-storey working area of the house is built of logs. There is a log ramp which leads to the second floor, and through the gates on the southern and northern facade walls one can get to the first floor. The upper floor of the working area rests on four massive supporting posts. There are cattle-sheds built as a separate framework on the eastern side of the household area.

The plank double-sloping roof constructed without use of nails exhibits some archaisms: each log that makes up a pediment carries the pole that bears roof timber and ties two pediments together. There is an arched balcony with carved pillars and rounded base along the attic room.

The house is richly decorated with carved fascia boards, a so-called ‘towel’ (a board with fretwork covering a joint of two roof slopes), carved wooden cornices, window surrounds and small carved pillars that hold hand-rails of the balcony and the suspended gallery along three facades of the house.
