The structure is under local protection.

It is a single-chamber two-tiered building. The building is destined for storage of corns. A two-jamb doorway is situated on the southern front. All other fronts are without doors and windows. The inside walls are trimmed to the level of the fronton. The second tier’s entrance is through hatch on the step ladder. The ceiling of the second tier looks like a trapezium. The ramps of the ceiling are formed by continuous wooden uprush, cut in every log of the fronton. The roof is made without nails and L-typed burns consisted of two layers of smooth boards without bark. The framework is made of logs according to the traditional method called “v oblo”, i. e. with the logs’ ends protruding from the edges of the walls in the corners. The granary is a household structure typical for buildings of the northern karelians, where overhead cover of the second tier’s is unusual and interesting.
