The granary is located to the south of Pertiakov’s house. The face wall looks on the road and lake. The basis of the design of the one-storied structure is a rectangle. The gable roof is a nailless construction, made of boards.

The main entrance is on a side wall. By the entrance there is a platform set on the logs protruding from the lower joisting. The logs of the framework have not been treated. The floor and ceiling are constructed of planks set on the beams. The structure is made up of logs fixed according to the traditional method with the logs’ ends protruding from the edges of the walls in the corners (a notch joint called in Russian ‘v oblo’).

Granary’s design typical of Zaonezhye helps to reconstruct a panorama of a typical village and a farmstead.

The facial boards are plain; contain no carvings, semi-circular to the ends.

There is no optional equipment inside.
