The framework is made up of logs fixed according to the traditional method with the logs’ ends protruding from the edges of the walls in the corners (a notch joint called in Russian ‘v oblo’). The structure is set on a loose-rock foundation according to dry-stack wall technique. Roof timbers are made according to local techniques, the roofing is two-ply. Bridgings are half-logs set on beams. Decorative window trim (shutters, head and sill pieces) feature gorgeous ornamentation. Shutters on the windows in habitable rooms (two ‘izbas’) consist of three vertical panels. A dressed board with contour-cutting work and plated carvings surrounds the window. The upper part of the decorative window trim (head) is a horizontal profiled bar with a gutter, the lower part is a profiled window-sill and a board rounded sideways underneath. Windows in the anteroom and attic room have the same casings but without panels. Facial boards have three tiers of carvings. Two upper ones feature hollow carvings on the plated board: triangular cogs in the first one and a line broken in three pieces in the second one. The lower edge of the facial board is trimmed with a wavy contour-cutting work. The ‘towel’ element and facial boards have some fretwork, such as a rosette symbolizing sun and gaunt rhomb –shaped drops. Truss that supports the roof consists of two logs with ornamental carvings. This is a contour-cutting work, namely the alternation of triangular prisms and half-barrels. The main entrance is decorated with flat balusters and carved pillars; the porch is covered with a gable roof. The western wall is blank.

The walls inside the habitable part have been dressed, corners cut round; the same holds good with the remaining part. Three flights of stairs for emergency case run to the upper floor on the southern wall.
