The basis of the design of the house is a habitable part with ‘izbas’ to which joins the hall. The habitable part consists of six walls, is two-storied; the face wall numbers six windows. Two log walls and several board partitions divide the space inside.
Windows are constructed of four jambs; feature two-glass cover for summer and winter, the glass cover consists of six pieces. The roof is set on a couple rafter, fixed with nails.
The house is built of pine logs fixed according to the traditional method with the logs’ ends protruding from the edges of the walls in the corners (a notch joint called in Russian ‘v oblo’).
The anteroom is a framed structure with a separate roof. The walls in the habitable part are neatly hewn, caulked with moss. The pediments are made of boards.
