The smithy is a ‘squat’ building with square foundation covered with a low, single-pitch roof. The roof slope stretches from the remote back wall to the entrance, which is a double jamb doorway with a single door of simple woodwork joined with wooden pegs. The smithy’s room is lit up through three windows: there is one on the front (leftward from the entrance door) facade and one on each of the two flanks. The windows have removable window frames without jambs. The floor is paved with bricks. А furnace, with a metal vent-hole above it, is placed near the eastern wall. To the left of entrance there is an inner partition-wall which does not reach the ceiling. The walls are fixed according to the traditional method called ‘v oblo’ (i.e. with the logs ends protruding from the edges of the walls in the corners); the roof is made of planks fixed with nails.
