A cross of respectful salutation is a specific type of small architectural forms having religious value. The eight-pointed cross is situated on a log pedestal under a gable overhanging roof, which rests on four pillars. The cross is covered with decorative relief carvings. Two ornamented rosettes on the flat side of the cross have inscriptions ‘1812’ and ‘Victory’ carved on them. The overhanging roof above the cross is richly decorated. The gable roof with carved fascia boards and the fretwork on the hewed pillars is a traditional type of decoration of such small structure.
