Prophets' tier
The icons of the prophets in the top Prophets' tier complete the Kizhi iconostases. In the center there is an icon of “The Virgin of the Sign” as the influence of Novgorod the Great. In the iconostasis of the church of the Transfiguration church this tier is also impressive in the number of icons and the representation of the prophets.
