On June 26 within the Day of Petrozavodsk celebrations Kizhi museum invites visitors and guests of our city to historic quarter which will be temporarily turned into a historic theatre. Visitors are going to plunge into the atmosphere of old Russian provincial town and spectate recognizable, symbolical scenes of urban life and culture of XIX – XX centuries. Town’s dancings, taking pictures in old-style clothes, townspeople dressed in old-fashioned costumes, handicraftsmen will create the real world of illusions of the past.

Common residents of Petrozavodsk dressed in costumes of late XIX – early XX century will take part in the action together with professional actors.
