The island is situated 8 km to the southwest of the Village of Sennaya Guba. It is a cliff island with the height 50 m over the sea level. The colony of gulls that is the largest in the Kizhi skerries lives here. Up to 400 pairs of lesser black-backed gulls, herring gulls, river terns nest on the island. The island is very interesting in botanical aspect, as a diversity of cliff grass species can be found here. |
