Radkoliye Cape
The cape is situated in the southwestern part of Bolshoy Lelikozerovsky Island.
It is a monolith cliff with the area of 8 ha and very steep shores (nearly 30 m) above the lake level. Cliff plant communities which are unique for the north of Russia are developed on the top of the cliff and along its southern slope in the cracks filled with soil. Among them, there are such rare species as thick stands of angular Solomon’s seal, rockrose, hillwort and others. The occurrence of the rockrose is of special value, as it is found in the Republic of Karelia only along the shore of Lake Ladoga in the vicinity of the settlement of Vyartsilya (Ramenskaya, Andreeva, 1982).
