Summing up the work done, it is safe to say the following:
- Tasks set for year 2008 are performed in full. The manufacture of the equipment for lifting and suspension of engineering restoration tiers of the Church of the Transfiguration has been completed, the considerable volume of work on the equipment installation has been completed, too. At the same time, they continued works on improving design decisions related to the optimizing the design of the church strip foundations, reinforced-concrete slab and socle. The project of disassembly and restoration of the refectory log framework and roof has been developed. The project of work production for the Complex Restoration of the Church of the Transfiguration is almost completed.
- The projecting of the III-IV stages of the Complex Restoration of the Church of the Transfiguration within «Culture of Russia» programme is going on. The project works in the value of 2500 thousand RUB have been performed in 2008, 3500 thousand RUB are being asked for 2009.
- Construction documents are available for the restoration work in 2009–2010 in full.
- The financing for Complex Restoration of the Church of the Transfiguration in 2009–2010 is sanctioned for 23 and 22 million RUB correspondingly.
The following works are forthcoming in 2009–2010:
- Completing installation of the equipment for lifting and suspension of engineering restoration tiers of the Church of the Transfiguration; performing lifting and suspension of the Church.
- Disassembling the VIIth engineering restoration tier and restoring in the Restoration Complex.
- Disassembling the church refectory and starting restoration of its log framework components.Completing the restoration of the original floor.
- Accomplishing the reconstruction of the rubble concrete strip foundation under the walls of the suspended Church.
Head of restoration works on the Church of the Transfiguration, Deputy Director of Restoration of Kizhi Pogost Monuments in the Kizhi Museum.
